Kendrick Lamar ha ufficialmente annunciato il lancio di “Rich Spirit“, traccia n.7 dell’album “Mr.Morale & The Big Steppers“, pubblicato lo scorso 26 agosto in formato vinile. E lo ha fatto mostrando il videoclip del brano. Diretto da Calmatic, vede protagonista Lamar in una situazione surreale all’interno di un’abitazione ben arredata, ma vuota: rimasto sveglio un’intera notte balla da solo a ritmo di musica e parla attraverso un telefono scollegato dai fili, che alla fine del videoclip inizia misteriosamente a suonare.
Già vincitore del premio Pulitzer, primo rapper nella storia ad aggiudicarsi il prestigioso riconoscimento, Lamar è in attesa di ricevere il 5 febbraio 2023 8 Grammy Awards durante la cerimonia di premiazione: Record of The Year (The Heart Part 5), Album of the Year (Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers), Song of the Year (The Heart Part 5), Best Rap Performance (The Heart Part 5), Best Melodic Rap Performance (Die Hard feat.
